Art behind a glass curtain? Art you can't grab?? Fageddaboudit!!
This begins witha detail of a fountain in Chicago- the streams of water arch
over a pathway and land as they began,
in a tub of stuff.
Next a twisted tower that was salvaged from a wind turbine accident- consummate sculpture by Ma Nature!
Two shots of foliage found in the basement of Washington National Cathedral, then Yellin's fabulous and fabulously out of place "gate" at Northwestern near Lake Michigan.
Then, texture texture and more texture. Next to last is the famous lion in front of the Chigago Inst. of ArtwithacapitalA. I was fascinated by the tail and the surface of the massive bronze casting, and what generations of loving hands had done to it by caressing and appreciating it.
Enjoy!
